Today's Context

This situation should change

An excerpt from a poem by famous poet Dushyant Kumar.

Google English translation.

The pain has become like a mountain, it must melt. A Ganges must flow from this Himalaya.

Today this wall started shaking like pillars,

but the research was that

This foundation must be shaken.

Every dead body should walk on every road, in every street, in every city, in every village, waving its hands.

My aim is not just to create a ruckus, my effort is to change this situation.

If not in my heart then in your heart, fire should burn anywhere.

Call wrong as wrong and good as good Point at the wrong &bad. Appreciate that is good &goodness

The Indian Constitution is one of the world's most comprehensive. But how does society function? It has its own customs and traditions. Marriage rules and social behavior may be written, but they are not law. Not everything is covered by law. It's impossible to legislate for everything, yet society continues to function smoothly. Many tribes, or social units, have their own laws. These may differ from the national law, but these customs have been followed for ages. These unwritten laws are transmitted to people in a very detailed manner, generation after generation. They also undergo spontaneous changes over time, and people accept these changes and begin to comply with them.

How?

How is personal commitment to traditions ensured?

How are ideals established in society?

How are new ideals established?

How do these established ideals affect society? The behavior of the most dignified man, Lord Shri Ram, was exemplary and ideal, but never became a law. Why is it still exemplary today?

There is no judicial process to follow,

Yet how is its compliance ensured?

People are more confident about common morality than the legal system, why?

There is only one reason:-

People should call wrong as wrong and condemn it.

"What will people say?" whether it will be appreciated people appreciative&….. has  immense power.

"People's word" is a powerful bond, a powerful control. It is successful at every step and needed everywhere.

This public shame, accepted norms are more powerful than the law which people follow.

Modus operandi

If someone in the office is taking a bribe and you, as a third person, interrupt them, it could lead to a fight. Interrupt an officer who is doing wrong, and your work will be ruined.

Doctors arrive late at hospitals, and people don't object. Teachers don't show up at schools; confronting them directly will only lead to a fight.

There will also be a question as to who are you to say this, etc.

Calling wrong as wrong is an act of courage.

Conflicts, fights and various types of problems may arise.

This was the opinion of a very senior excutine about this topic of research. There is a cure, but it is very harsh. He believed that calling wrong a wrong is right, but it is very difficult.

Yes, to a large extent this is true.

The idea is to persuade n  A………. no fight.

But calling good a good thing doesn't create any fire. Still, it's not very common, because it also requires courage, effort section.

Unlike restlessness/indifference/inertia/inaction, calling good good is an active process. It also requires effort.

Still easy. Highly desirable.

Is a catalyst.

A Guide to goodness&important.

It is as effective as a seed mantra.

There is no harm, no expense in this kind of atomic (small) effort in life, yet it is sorely lacking.

Calling wrong wrong and good good are like two sides of a road. Like the two banks of a river, they ensure and streamline social flow. We must adopt these principles in our daily lives, social lives, and national life.

YOU GUYS

Google translation of a poem by Dhirendra Kumar Tiwari

What can I say about how rotten you people are?

You're embroiled in the quagmire of politics. You're mired in the quagmire, playing with the spills, yet you claim to be clean.

How deep are the feelings in our hearts,

You people measure by pricking with a needle.

Borders are meaningless, values have changed their meaning,

You people live by selling your shame and modesty.

A man gets shattered after fighting with his own people, you people play in the name of love.

You represent the long nights of those whose eyes search for the morning light. You haven't spared even those who beg at the crossroads every day.

..BUT WHAT TO DO?

I just meet one more person-

Then few more-

A unit is to be made-

Have to identify-Problems &needs-Measures to be taken make progress in raising the standard of living.

The easiest thing is to be done is find a solution and similarity implement for the next need/problem.

We have to keep other people active too.

For example:-

There are problems in your neighborhood – the street is dark, here is filth spread in the street, drains are overflowing, teachers do not come to school, doctors do not come to the health sub-centre, one/some person is demanding extortion and other things.

If people are not ready to cooperate in removing darkness in the streets, if they cannot stop those who spread dirt, then,Can some people get together to clean the temple? Can they educate needy children? Can they do cultural activities like kirtan (religion song) and bhajan together?

Then you will be able to dispel the darkness of the street, then you will be able to politely request the teacher and doctor who are not coming to come,

And then we can meet the higher officials and ensure their presence.

School and hospital buildings, paving of streets can be done through various measures (MP quota, MLA quota, departmental work etc.)but has to be

Not everyone will be able to do everything—some will do one thing, others another—first the extant/force of extortion will be reduced;

Then that energy spent for extortion will also be used for good work.

There will be accelaration in social upliftment,

This is a continuous process.

Don't you feel like doing anything? Don't have the courage to do anything? Don't trust anyone?

So today (every day) start trying to earn one more rupee in an ethical way.

Then the darkness will start going away on its own.

We must not be satisfied with our progress.

Charles Darwin revealed a deeply hidden truth about how life evolved. Looking back at original scientific thought and events, some quadrupeds may have begun to use only their hind legs for greater efficiency. They may have fallen repeatedly. This trend continued. Bipeds evolved into humans. Those who remained "satisfied" remain quadrupeds even today.

The world consists of some quadrupeds, some partially bipedal chimpanzee-like animals, and some modern humans. Among these modern humans, some grew wheels, some wings. Those who remained content in their place were left behind.

People formed groups, tribes, and nations. Weak individuals who remained "satisfied" were enslaved. They were treated like cattle. Many were driven into the mountains and forests. Their progress was halted. They were reduced to the status of quadrupeds.

Developed people and developed countries are constantly progressing despite their dissatisfaction. They are developing new technologies. If the technology of some developed people continues to outperform others, won't we also be forced to become like the animals of the past?

The core sentiment of our scriptures is that "contentment" is the ultimate wealth. Perhaps we're misunderstanding it somewhere? Don't be complacent with striving for progress, don't be lazy. Instead, be content with achieving something that, despite our efforts, we haven't been able to achieve more. Then we'll strive harder and reach a level of progress where advanced people, in their pride, won't try to push us back toward quadrupeds or primitive humans. Don't be complacent in striving for progress

OUR CITY AND THE FROG

The frog's importance in the evolutionary chain is that it represents a generation capable of living both on land and in water. This is likely the reason for the evolution of land-based animal groups.

Frogs have an organ called Cloaca through which-

fecal excretion,

urinary excretion,

Reproductive activities take place.

There are roads in our cities and villages-

On which people defecate and urinate.

Which is a place to throw household and all other types of garbage.

Which is the outlet of the drains of our house.

Which is the only outlet for rainwater.

On which we decorate shops and sell goods on carts.

On this we perform marriages, worship and other group functions.

They also work on walking on it.

Are we and our city still in the frog stage of development?

BATTLE

War of Independence-

The enemy was in front, he was recognizable, Subhash and Gandhi came.

The battle of Mahabharata – the enemies were in front, there were real brothers and relatives, there were gurus and grandfathers, Krishna had to come, Arjun had to pick up Gandiva.

The fight for development – the enemy is difficult to identify, it is shapeless, selfishness, corruption, inactivity, Look of concern with society, laziness.

It is difficult-

All these enemies lie within us. We must fight ourselves, we must be at the forefront. Reduce your participation in this reduce—a little more. Eliminate indifference. Make an active effort.

LET US MEET………..

There are many problems-

They are Staring one after the other

New problems keep arising.

In numerous public meetings and seminars organized in Mainpura by Talaash, it emerged that the biggest problem is extortion,/ rangdari whether small or large, local or larger... People raised this issue, but we had no solution. Extortion is the exploitation and harassment of a larger group/or individual criminal minded  by individuals (small groups)...

The people present at the meeting  came out with opinion -

Leave that problem aside for now... pay attention to street cleanliness. If there is a problem in that too, then at least educate the children and women who cannot go to school.

"Identify your problems, prioritize them, identify your problems and resources, and accordingly solve any small or big problem." Thus  idea was approved.

Discussing extortion was difficult, and everyone brushed it aside. A solution was deemed impossible, as both in extended to politics. One person recounted the founding of the Rotary Club, describing how a man conceived the idea of doing social work. Four like-minded friends met and hatched a plan. People laughed at them. Yet, one after another, people met (hence Rotary)—and today, it has become such a large international organization.

Meeting cannot eliminate extortion. At a time when lawlessness (extortion) was rampant in Japan, four young men came together to form an organization. The organization grew and its slogan became, "Let the sinners tremble in fear of us." It played a significant role in restoring social life.

A man told the story of a college being built in his backward area. He described how some friends gossiped about the area's backwardness, not its lack of a college, pointing out that talented students were being wasted without one. Calling it a task for the state, not society, some described it as difficult to the point of impossibility. As word spread, some people came forward. With mere consent and praise, some people raised funds, they were criticized, and they were accused... More people joined in, prominent figures came forward, and the college was built—today, it houses 12,000 students. Many from the area became engineers, doctors, officers, and professionals.

The basic mantra is "Let us meet; Let us talk.

PINDDAAN

There was a conference of orthopedic specialists in Gaya. Not believing in pomp and, old rituals being modern, educated, I considered old traditions wrong, baseless and unnecessary and amidst a reluctance to follow them, I decided to perform the Pind Daan. My son was also with me. So I put the responsibility on him. Initially, the Puja chores was fixed at Rs. 250/-. Pind Daan could be done for a fee ranging from Rs. 51/- to several thousand. It was a laugh. Pandit ji my son’s reluctance to shave Pandit ji suggest to cut as couple of locks of hair from his head. A lot of preparations were made. Big brass utensils, etc. were immediately available. Pind’s were made from the materials used for Pind-making, rice, Til etc.

It was all a sham, fueled by prejudiced criticism. The priest said, "The first offering should be made to my father, then to his father, then to my grandfather's father, then to my grandfather's grandfather, and son I did." Then he asked for the name of the fifth-generation grandfather. I didn't know. To alleviate my embarrassment, the priest said "Yathaaname" (What ever their name may be) and offered the offering to him.

My mother was offered the Pind. Then my maternal grandfather, then his father's name was asked. Again, sensing my embarrassment, the Pind was performed as What ever their name may be (Yathaaname)

I didn't know my mother's mother's name from the beginning—it was my first time that I Knew so little about my family tree.

Then I was asked to perform the Pind Daan to my uncle. I protested, saying that his sons would perform it for him. But the priest explained, "No, sir(yajman) ! They are from your family, you will have to perform it too."

Then There was of offering of Pind to the Guru's family: his father and mother. Somehow, I showed patience, the Pind Daan was performed in Yathaname . I requested (ordered) the Panditji to leave me quickly. He asked for some patience, and then the Pind Daan was offered in the name of the animals my ancestors had raised. This sham seemed amusing.

Then came the turn of the pet & dogs and cats. Then came the pet parrots and mynas. I was fed up. I wanted to return to the conference quickly. I wanted to end this useless business when Panditji asked me to be patient a little more. I was thinking,

Who else is left to offer Pind ? It was too much when they asked me to perform to the trees my ancestors had planted and now they had dried up.

I said, "What nonsense is this? Puja Price has been agreed upon, so take it and don't waste our time."

The patient &learned priest said, "No sir, (Yajman), I cannot abandon your vow. You must do Pind Daan to the dead trees whose fruits you and your ancestors ate and grew up. They certainly expect a little if water from you."

It was as if darkness had lifted. I was speechless. I stared at Panditji. I agreed. I understood: is my present life indebted only to my parents? No, it's to their creators, my ancestors, my brother, my uncle, my many teachers, my friends, those unknown people who helped me many times, saving my life. The entire society in which I live. Then there are the animals and birds that sustain our lives. And the entire plant kingdom that is the basis of all living beings; I too belong to them. My existence, my life, truly depends on all of them, and I must be indebted to them And must how repay that debt, I must thank people. Kindness towards other creatures and must take measures to protect them, plant trees and offering them little of water is essential. Life depends on this. This is not Pind Daan, it's an expression of gratitude. It makes you realize your life's connection to the entire society. The Indian perspective on animals, birds, and plants. There's a critical acknowledgement of their scientific connections and the teaching of a "vision" for future generations to adopt. No environmentalist has ever explained it so well to me.

How thoroughly is the interdependence of the environment woven into tradition? Will we, the so-called novices, ever use our education to understand the origins and purposes of our traditions? Is Everything connected with our customs useless and worth abandoning? and superficial, education ………… and beliefs of yesterday one worth adopting.

It is our duty to educate our children in the style of the Panchatantra. My salutations to Panditji. You have saved so much for me—for just 250 rupees.

ONE MORE RUPEE TODAY

Our country's population today is around 1.2 billion. If every person earned even just one rupee more per day (in a reasonable way), work worth 1.4 billion rupees would be accomplished daily in this country. If one rupee passes through ten hands every day, that one rupee would accomplish work worth ten rupees.

In rural areas of our state, electricity goes out after dusk. People have little choice but to idle away and go to sleep. Most young people are starts playing cards.

Which leads to gambling. Coping with loneliness leads to drinking. Then convert into Doing things with friends like theft or other crimes, big or small. This destroys what has been created, rather than building it up, and is a terrible misuse of our human resources. If we can channelise this energy towards earning, especially in rural areas, the process of nation-building will accelerate. Problems of law and order and terrorism can also be overcome.

Wouldn't one more rupee increase the creative power of people?

WHY APOLITICAL? WHY NONVIOLENT?

Politics is an essential aspect of life.

Politics affects our lives almost everywhere, every day.

Everybody keeps influencing politics.

Then how is it possible to be apolitical?

Active politics, like reality, has a form, an identity, and a process. Politics is purposeful. first and foremost, the acquisition of power. Change of power is the most direct and effective path to public welfare, but it doesn't always happen.

Swami Vivekananda's work was for public welfare, for nation building.

Ram Mohan Roy's work was the work of social upliftment.

Mahatma Gandhi's work was the path of using politics and the governance system for social upliftment, but he himself was miles away from politics.

Politics is characterized by contradictions; it draws lines. Totality is not possible. There are temptations and compulsions. The objective can be deviated. In apolitical endeavor, the objective is fixed.

Nonviolence?

Respected Sir, why did you come to the office so late?

Who are you to ask?

I am... the common people, the king of democracy.

Hey Kishan (Peon). Throw him out, he's interfering in government work.

Anger, Physical Clash

Legal action.

Police station, court, trouble.

Loss of strength for both parties. And the result? The task didn't get accomplished, other tasks were also hindered, and a vow to never again engage in such conflicts and entanglements.

Conflict is inherent in violence.

The depletion of both forces in the conflict is also certain.

It is a weapon like a released arrow.

It cannot be returned nor can it be reused.

Victory is possible for only one side.

Nonviolence requires a large reservoir of energy, but it is not depleted and does not lead to conflict.

Both sides win.

It is deeply democratic, based on the highest human values, and always with us like a weapon.

WE WILL IMPROVE, THE WORLD WILL IMPROVE.

Children, do not eat jaggery.

First of all, stop eating jaggery yourself like that saint or Gandhi who are few, rare and come only once in a while.

They have also made changes.

Will the general public or many people be able to become like that saint?

How long will this change take?

Will change keep waiting for that saint to be born again?

Does one poor person lose the right to call another poor person poor?

Can't one thief call another thief?

Aren't everyone (most) a thief somewhere/sometime?

Are thieves not creating more trouble by becoming cousins?

So?

Okay, I am wrong somewhere, but you're wrong here. Don't do this”.

‘First look into your own self’.

When one finger is pointed towards someone, three fingers are pointed towards oneself.

(Sure. I need to improve too.)

Okay, I make mistakes too, but that doesn't mean you make mistakes, it affects me, and I stay silent. I will say something and do something.

“I will also see you, I will also be against you.”

“I can't stop you, please do it.”

Ok.

(I too will have to overcome my shortcomings.)

We all will all be able to climb at least one step higher.

THE FAILED SYSTEM

After independence, a very efficient system has been developed which reaches every village and every person.

There is hardly any village with a population of more than a thousand that does not have a school, a health sub-centre, or a VLW staff.

The situation is similar with public utilities. The amount of money spent on electricity and roads so far could have provided uninterrupted electricity to every home and built paved roads to every home. A complete system is in place to ensure smooth functioning and there is no hindrance. Teachers arrive on time and perform their duties, for that these are They have supervisors to ensure this. A chain of different level officials exists in subdivisions and districts& state level director- and secretary. The same applies to the health department and other departments. But the real situation is before our eyes. Both teachers and children are missing from schools—who is unaware of this?

Tax money, collected directly or indirectly from the common person and supposed to fuel progressive development, is not only being wasted but also creating numerous social distortions. To compensate, many NGOs, like government departments, are squandering money or resorting to self-praise in half-baked, ineffective, failed attempts. Whether criminal or civil, the judicial process has become so idealistic, so expensive, and so slow that it no longer has any deterrent or reformative effect on society.

Buildings and bridges built before independence still stand today. The condition of government buildings and bridges built afterward is clear.

Privatization has been found as an alternative. Everything is being privatized. Privatization by establishing form of contracting  monopoly is like landlordism & dictators. In reality the situation, it is the management of personal inaction, dishonesty, and corruption at govt. level.

The question of Talash is how the same person who is ineffective, indifferent and corrupt in the government system becomes efficient and honest and starts delivering in private institutions.

Excessive constitutional protection in government jobs, lack of accountability, selfish and autocratic attitude of the higher authorities are obstacles in anything good happening.

Consequently, the due to human attitude of valuing personal/self gain far above social achievement gain, one sacrifices larger social causes for petty personal gain. The task of Talash is to change this attitude and establish the correct balance between social and personal achievement.

This is only possible by empowering the common person as a guardian. The common person is the ultimate consumer. Therefore, their grasp on utility& services is essential. The common person is the ultimate king. Therefore, they must play an active role; only then will the rust of the system be removed and everything will be able to function again.

though the head or the chief has all the powers and sense of responsibility, it is the common man who ultimately has the responsibility to keep the systems in order and running.

FLOWING TAP

Mamta: Dad, a tap on the road next to our house has been leaking for many days.

Father: So what can I do?

Mamta: There is so much mud on the road, people face so much inconvenience in commuting, and there is the wastage of drinking water, too.

Father: Those who are responsible for repairing the tap do not look at it, those who face inconvenience do not speak up, so what can I do about it?

Mamta: We are also facing inconvenience, you are such a big officer, why don't you say something to the concerned department?

Father: Why should I have the headache?

Mamta: If you (the one who is capable) do not take the responsibility then how can the other (the one who passes away) do anything?

Father: Okay Baba, I will see.

The useless flow of the tap stopped.

Mamata played a leading role as ‘Talash’ principal, Mamata's father worked of ‘Talash’  and people have been doing such things long before the ‘Talash’. But very few. More and more people need to be active in this direction. We desperately need "guard of society" like Mamata.

On behalf of the 'Talaash' family, wherever Mamta is (wherever like her are), we wish them all the best! And hope that she will always keep the torch of 'Talaash' glowing.

POWER OF COLLECTIVE THINKING

According to the Bihar Registrar General, there are approximately 20,000 voluntary organizations in Bihar alone, of which approximately 2,000 are active, and many are doing good work. So, how many organizations exist in the entire country?

These are matters of organizations. On an individual level, there are thousands, perhaps millions, of people who are doing something good for others, not just themselves.

Such organizations and people have been working in such large numbers for ages. All of you are gathered here today because you all have a desire to do and be better.

Even then, the desired effect is not there, because we all have different voices.

Therefore, one of the fundamental concepts of 'Talaash' is that all such people, all such organizations should speak in one voice on the basic fact - then this voice will be so loud that even the deaf people will be able to hear it.

The strength of the group or union is paramount.

Capable of change.

It will remain. Change is essential for change. without it, the status quo will remain.

There's no jurisdiction/power/ in ‘Talash’  no copyright, everyone is free and welcome to do whatever they want, wherever they like. The work must be done, that's all.

Literates on this side, that slide literates and everywhere.

When I keep my eyes peeled to see which side the literates are ?

Wherever there is looting, there are the literates.

Where countless bribery scams are thriving, are there not literating?

Wherever tax evasion is going on, the literate people there. I keep my eyes wide open to see which side the literate people are !

The literates are coming from there, where the desolate poor; are being Davenant .

the poor man's house is on fire and make their a palace; look! The literate man is coming from there.

Where is hidden ambush is being done the literates are there,

Crores of literate people here, but 95 percent of are robbers.

I search for the illiterate, but I find the literate! Leaders, experts, administrators, and technicians emerge, but the illiterate do not.

POOR DRAUPADI

A royal palace from the heyday of Aryavarta. What a grandeur! So many decorations, so many carvings. Mesmerizing.

The royal throne and the seating arrangements for high officials were enough to make even the most arrogant people feel small. The seating arrangements for ordinary members of the assembly were so exquisite that even the gods would want to experience them, and the pavilion for entertainment among them was simply unparallel.

Most impressive and impressive of all was the presence of the sole emperor of  Aryavarta, the imposing figure of the godlike Bhishma, Dronacharya, Kripacharya, and other incomparable figures.

Who wouldn't want to be a part of such a royal palace? And if they were granted an influential position, even the best of men would be proud of their fortune. Is it any wonder if the wisdom of the wise was lost here? If, in pursuit of so-called traditions, Dharmaraja Yudhishthira became a complete gambler, if Bhima became helpless, if the lessons of wrong discipline silenced Arjuna's Gandiva, if Nakula and Sahadeva's swords remained unsheathed, then who would consider these questions?:-

How can a “person”  be put at stake instead of wealth?

Is a person merely an object?

How could Yudhishthira, who loved his brothers more than his life, consider them as his slaves &put them at stake?

And a person's freedom?

How can a person who has lost himself, who has nothing of his own, put another person at stake? That too an women.

How care due to the dice of gambling, Queen Draupadi, the most noble woman of India, was publicly dragged by her hair into the most decorated and magnificent royal palace in the presence of Bhishma, Drona and Kripacharya ?

That a menstruating, single-clothed any woman (leave alone Queen Draupadi) should be disrobed in the assembly hall? In India, with such a history, if Dalit women are occasionally paraded naked in villages or neighborhoods, and the administration and justice system remain paralyzed, where is the wrong?

If Bhishma and Kripacharya due to and ….. of power& privilege of royality  could remain silent to snech …… and the pleasures of royalty, then what fault do our legislative and executive officials have? 40% of the population lives below the poverty line.

While the officials, earn a lakh rupees a month and a pension of over fifty thousand rupees without working a family pension? And when Bhishma, Drona, and Kripacharya (our constitutional leaders) don't speak out, why should ordinary members of the assembly (lawyers, engineers, doctors, teachers, scientists, etc.) do ? Under these cowardly fallacies, is it any wonder that today's intelligentsia, the affluent, and the powerful are openly auctioning off national interests (like the disrobing of Draupadi's single garment in the presence of everyone in the Rajya Sabha)?

If the leaders of Aryavarta had no hesitation in resorting to gambling to remain the sole king and sending the rightful claimants to exile for 12 years, then what is the harm in using caste, religion, region, language, terrorism and new destructive discoveries to capture or remain in power for the sake of power today?

Kudos to that one Kaurava brother who called wrong wrong, and shame on all those who didn't support him. What was needed was for the members of the assembly to raise their voices, to express their consciences, to abandon comfort and inertia. If Bhishma, Drona, or Kripacharya had taken the initiative, the disrobing of women could have been stopped. Many questions remain unanswered. If the Pandavas were right in the Mahabharata, and Krishna himself supported them, why did they ultimately perish?

Why did Krishna destroy/allow the destruction of all those in Aryavarta who possessed even a trace of goodness? And yet, how did he become a Yogeshwar, an avatar, a god?

Today, I feel satisfied. The country, the gathering where Draupadi's disrobing took place, witnessed and endured by the people under various pretexts, were certainly worthy of destruction. When the power of an individual or individuals exceeds the power of society, and society becomes secondary to them, then such individual or individuals must be destroyed. Krishna did the right thing. He destroyed parts of the surrounding forest (raja) and converted it into cultivable land. Truly, his vision was sound. No one is listening to Draupadi's call for national interest today. Be it politicians, officials, intellectuals, those in power, or ordinary people. Is history repeating itself? Will the Mahabharata happen again? I don't know, but disrobing this country continues. If wrong is not called wrong in time, good is not recognized, and a strong collective voice is not raised, then destruction is inevitable.

Get up – stop the Mahabharata or start it.
